Shopping from Self-service/Kiosk Store

As shown in the previous user guide - "Setting up Self-service POS/Kiosk POS", once you are done with that process, you can visit the respective store URL created.

This is how the Kiosk store will look.

Note - The shop will display products only that are added to that particular PriceBooks which was selected while creating the channel.

The filters (highlighted) are for sorting the products pricewise and the other for sorting alphabetically*(ascending - descending)*.

The third filter is to filter the products by category.

Next there is also an option to search products by product name.

Now next let's see how the shopping app works.

We are adding few products. Once the products are added, you can see the shopping cart icon highlighting the quantity added. Click the icon to proceed to shopping bag page.

On the shopping bag the customer can either increase or decrease the qty of products added or clear the bag.
On the bottom of the page you can see the price details along with product count and qty.
To proceed with the products added to bag, click on Checkout.

As the payment method is by default set to Offline Credit Card, next the customer will be asked to enter the credit card details. Enter and click on Continue to Confirm Orderbutton.

On the checkout confirmation page, order details and payments summary allong with tax method selected and payment method will be displayed.

Clicking on Confirm Order will take the customer to the last screen

Since it is a self-checkout store, no customer login and address are required. There is no print or email receipt option as well.

Now when you go back to the backoffice and go to Sales Order list, you will see an entry related to the shopping with subject as "SelfCheckoutStoreUser" along with the store name.

In this particular Sales Order Details View, you'll see the address information as N/A as no details were asked on the app.

This is how your customer can do shopping using the Self-service/Kiosk Store.
