User Management and Login to Warehouse Management App
Like Retail Sales Associate (POS), Warehouse App Associate Users can now be added through the back office, and also logging in using the Warehouse App Associate Username will redirect to the Warehouse Management App.
Let's understand the enhancements made and the process in detail:
- Warehouse App Profile
- In Settings -> Profiles -> Warehouse App Profile
- You can see Profiles Standard Access Information and Utility Access Information. Those are set by default, no changes can be made.
- Warehouse App Associate
- In Settings -> Roles -> Warehouse App Profile
- You can see Role Information.
- Adding Warehouse App Associate Users
- Go to Settings.
- Click Users from the User Management section
- You can directly click on Add or select Warehouse App Associate from the New User Type dropdown list and then click on the Add button.
- To create a new Warehouse App Associate User, fill in all the information required.
Note - If you reached this step without selecting the new user type prior then select the role as Warehouse App Associate from the Role dropdown list.
- After all the information is entered, click on Save.
This will create the new Warehouse App Associate user.
- To modify the Warehouse App Associate user details click the Name link of the user.
- Click Edit.
- The user details screen will appear. Modify the required details and click Save.
- Warehouse App Associate Login to Warehouse App
When in Settings - > Users you have a Role set to “Warehouse App Associate”, logging in using Warehouse App Associate Username will directly take you to the Warehouse Management App (not to the Back Office).
The stock location that you had set while creating the Warehouse App Associate User will be set in the warehouse management app (as shown in the above screenshot).
Note -
- If Set - Change to Stock Location selection in Warehouse Management App is not allowed
- If Not Set - Selection of Stock Location in Warehouse Management App is allowed
