Creating Inbound Shipments

NOTE: Pop-up's must be enabled in the browser to view packing slips.

Packing Slips/Shipping Labels can be sent to the Drop Ship Supplier (instructions here) or kept in the warehouse for Cross-Docking purposes (see below).

Generating Amazon Packing Slips/Labels

Cross-Docking

Inventory transfers from an Internal Warehouse to the FBA Warehouse - this creates a Shipping order in the system.

Navigate to the Shipping & Receiving > Shipping tab on the left menu panel.

  • Select the order(s) from the product list.
  • Check that orders selected are “Inventory Transfers” to the FBA stock location.
  • Select the "More Options" icon and select the “FBA Ship Labels PDF” button. This generates the labels PDF for printing.
  • If the incorrect order type is selected, an error message will display: “Only Inventory Transfer Ship Orders for Inbound Shipment to FBA Stock Location can be selected. Please check Orders # X, Y, Z".
  • Select the “Close” button to select a different order.

  • In the Order Detailed View, clicking the “FBA Ship Labels PDF” generates the PDF label for that order.

On clicking the button, a message appears with the progress of the action as the communication with Amazon happens until the PDF is generated.
Selecting the "FBA Ship Labels PDF" also checks that the order is an“Inventory Transfer” to the FBA stock location, otherwise, the error message “This operation is available Only for Inventory Transfer Ship Orders for Inbound Shipment to FBA Stock Location.” will appear.
Clicking the PDF also saves the Shipment ID in the database and prints a PDF if the user clicks the PDF button again. A message displays asking the user if they want to create an existing PDF or reprint an existing one.
In some cases, Amazon will split the shipment across multiple FBA locations. In this case, you will have various PDF tabs pop up with the respective quantities and a message informing the user of this action.
Once complete, an Inbound Shipment is created in Amazon.
