Editing the Channel and Completing Channel Setup
It is necessary now to map the Shipping, Payment and Sales tax methods that have been defined in the Shopify Remote Store to equivalent methods in Agiliron to ensure that orders coming in from the Store are interpreted and captured appropriately.
Click on the edit icon of your Shopify channel.
Fill in the form fields in the top 2 panels as shown above, details are discussed below:
- Shopify Store - This field is automatically populated for the Shopify Store, no changes are needed.
- Shopify Adapter - This is the integration module between Agiliron and Shopify Remote Store. Please see the last section of this chapter for details on this - for most users, the default is already included and no change is necessary.

The "Shipping, Payment, Taxes" sub-tabs below are provided to map the respective methods to the equivalent ones in Agiliron.
On the Shopify Remote Store the Shipping, Payment and Sales Tax methods that have been defined can be found in your admin panel under:
- "Settings > Payments"
- "Settings > Checkout"
- "Settings > Taxes and duties"
The bottom half of the channel setup screen shows the "Shipping" , "Payment" and "Taxes" sub-tabs for mapping of the equivalent methods from the Shopify Remote WebStore to Agiliron. Agiliron pulls the global list of options from Shopify Remote Store found above.
In each of these cases, for each method defined in the WebStore (left column), select the equivalent method in Agiliron from the drop-down menu alongside (right column). As orders come in from this Shopify Remote WebStore, the orders are captured into Agiliron in keeping with this mapping. Only the methods that are being enabled and used in the Shopify Remote Store need to be mapped here, the rest can be left blank. (e.g. if you only offer "Check" as a Payment Method, then only that Payment Method needs to be mapped in Agiliron).
Note that the Taxes tab contains a selection for "All Other Regions". This allows mapping for international orders and other jurisdictions outside state-specific mappings.
