Custom Remote WebStore

In This Chapter - Adding a Custom Remote WebStore Sales Channel, Setting up the REST API based communication with Agiliron, Mapping of Shipping, Payment and Sales Taxes for Order Capture and Management.

If a WebStore is developed and managed on an external server not hosted by Agiliron, then the "Remote WebStore" channel provides the mechanism to integrate that WebStore with the Agiliron system. This integration can be done at three levels through a two way communication channel enabled through a REST based API.

• Product Catalog, Pricing, Inventory, Discount Coupons and Product Specials information flowing from the Agiliron system to the remote WebStore
• Orders, Customer and Transaction information flowing from the remote WebStore to Agiliron in real-time
• Order, Product, Customer, Fulfillment Update Information propagated from Agiliron to WebStore
