QuickBooks Company File Template for QuickBooks Desktop Editions

If you do not have a QuickBooks Company File, you can download a template file from Sample QuickBooks Company File.

This includes the basic setup that allows you to work with the Agiliron system.

Once you download this file, you can customize it in QuickBooks as below:

• Company > Company Information Update
• Change Name and other Business Information
• Company > Set Up Users and Passwords > Change Your Password
• Lists > Chart of Accounts
  • Bank Accounts - Right Click - > Edit
    • Account Name/Information
    • Balance
    • Add others as necessary
  • CREDIT CARD - 1 - Right Click - > Edit
    • Account Name/Information
    • Balance
    • Add others as necessary
  • Income Accounts Add/Change
• Lists > Item List
  • Go to "Vendor Center" to setup the associated Tax Agencies
  • Modify "LOCATION ONE TAX"
  • Modify "LOCATION TWO TAX"
  • Edit and Setup Inventory, Non-inventory, Service Items as necessary
  • Edit Discount/Coupon items as necessary
• Lists > Customer & Vendor Profile Lists > Ship Via List
  • Add or Remove vendors as necessary - leave "Unspecified" as a placeholder for unknown methods
• Lists > Customer & Vendor Profile Lists > Payment Method List
  • Add or Remove methods as necessary - leave "Unspecified" as a placeholder for unknown methods
