- Inserting Field Markers In Templates

If there are module specific fields that should be merged in with the message content, the "Available Merge fields" block can be used to insert markers in the content as shown below.

e.g. To insert "Dear FirstName" to the head of the message

• Select "Contact Fields" from the "Select Field Type" drop-down
• Select "Contact: First Name" from the "Select Field" drop-down
• Copy the "Copy Merge Field Value:" value to your message content as in "Dear $contacts_firstname".
• The $contacts_firstname will be replaced by the Contact's first name as the emails are constructed and sent out.
