Key Metrics Customization

If you click on any of the Key Metrics (e.g. "Sales Orders" ), you will be directed to the module that originates this metric and displays the "Custom View" of source data that contributed to this metric. If you click on the "edit" link for the Custom View, this metric can be customized further through filtering of date range or field values as well as the name of the metric.

Adding a New Key Metric

On any of the modules, you can create a "Custom View" to view specific pieces of data as well as filter based on field values in that module. When you create the custom view, there is a checkbox "List in Metrics". If this is turned on, the count of the results of the Custom View is automatically added to the "Key Metrics" table on the "Home" page.
