Lot Tracked Products

This is a product type that supports the creation of a Lot Tracked product for which inventory will be tracked by lot numbers assigned at point of production or acquisition.

• This is typically used in case of industries like food where product manufacturing and expiration dates must be managed carefully and the products sold can be traced back to their production lot.
• Lot numbers are assigned to a group of stock created at a time and the information related to production of that lot is captured in the lot specification.
