Work Orders
Work Orders allow light manufacturers to readily manage the build process for production work orders to replenish standing inventory levels of finished goods or special order work orders built to exact specifications for a particular customer.
For Assembly products, as inventory is added or generated based on reorder levels work orders are automatically generated in the system. It is communicated and assigned to the "Product Stock Manager" for that product and set up as a Task. The work order created automatically includes the components of the assembly, its units and quantities as part of the description.
